Radiation meter PCE-SFS 10Test meters & tools

An electrostatic measurement is particularly important to check whether surfaces, components or the human body are electrostatically charged. If a discharge occurs, electronic components can be damaged. In the worst case, flammable gases and liquids can cause a flame to form. Such electrostatic charges can be found with the radiation meter. The radiation measuring device is therefore used for monitoring in ESD-protected production workshops. The measuring range of the radiation meter is ±60 kV DC.

To ensure that the radiation meter does not lose its measurement result itself or damage components in a production workshop through an electric shock, the radiation meter can be grounded with the alligator clip included in the scope of delivery. The lasers on the radiation meter are used to optimally align the sensors.

In addition to the radiation measurement, the radiation meter can simultaneously measure the ambient temperature and humidity. For mobile use, the radiation meter is operated with a 9 V block battery. The maximum operating time for the radiation meter is 20 hours. The battery status display shows the current battery charge of the radiation meter.
